Masts in Jersey, and how close they are
People ask about masts and no property site answers. 19 communication masts and towers are mapped in Jersey. Where a listing publishes its own map pin, this measures the distance to the nearest one.
The map data records that a mast is there. It does not record which generation it carries — not one of these 19 structures says 5G, 4G or anything else about its radio equipment. A site that labels a mast by generation next to a property is either using a source it has not named, or guessing. We would rather show you the mast and be straight about the gap.
If it matters to your decision, the operator or your island's telecoms regulator can tell you what is on a given mast. We are looking at whether a licensed source of radio type can be added here.

1,294 of 2,295 listings could be measured. Two things limit that, and neither is a fault in the mast data. A listing can only be measured if its agent publishes a map pin — 79% here do. And listings that share one coordinate, because an agent geocodes everything to the parish centre, are excluded: a shared pin cannot say anything about one building, which removes a further 1%. Where the number is small, that is what a thin measurement looks like — not a claim that nothing is near a mast.
