Half the homes for sale in Bahamas are asking more than $399,000 — agents here quote USD rather than the local BSD, which is worth knowing before you compare anything — about £292k — and half less. That is 26% below the middle of the 31 islands on this site.
Renting, the middle of the market is $3,500 a month (£3k).
Put together, that is a gross yield of about 10.5% — before any of the costs that make a real return smaller.
