Half the homes for sale in Curaçao are asking more than XCG 635,000 — about £260k — and half less. That is 34% below the middle of the 31 islands on this site. Renting, the middle of the market is XCG 3,350 a month (£1k).
Cheaper, if the number above is the problem: Bahrain (£175k), Belize (£172k), Dominica (£150k), Samoa (£68k). Search every island by budget.
Costs about the same: Grenada, Bahamas, Vanuatu — worth a look if you have not fixed on a place.
